  • Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies at Aga Khan University (Pakistan)The Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies (CETE) at The Aga Khan University (AKU) is dedicated to improving trauma and emergency care in Pakistan and beyond. CETE was established in response to the significant need for enhanced emergency medical services and trauma care in Pakistan, where trauma is a leading cause of mortality and morbidity. Through research, education and training, community engagement, and healthcare systems building, the CETE aims to better emergency care systems to ultimately better patient outcomes, promote general community safety, and raise awareness on trauma and emergency responses. 
  • Rescue 1122 (Pakistan): Rescue 1122 is an emergency service provider in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Established in 2006, Rescue 1122 provides rapid emergency response services to the residents of Punjab in cases of accidents, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and other emergencies. The organization provides a centralized emergency response system that is available 24/7 for callers to request assistance for various emergencies, including medical emergencies, accidents, fires, and disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, and building collapses). Rescue 1122 is also actively involved in community education and awareness programs aimed at promoting safety and preventing emergencies. These programs  include first aid, fire safety, disaster preparedness, and CPR training conducted in schools, workplaces, and communities.
